Was super excited to try this place and enjoy some SG/Thai chicken rice! One of my favorite meals in the whole world. Food was good here! The ginger rice and the dressing are stellar! So good! Next time I think I’ll try the roasted chicken! The steamed chicken and rice needed some more seasoning and they don’t have the soy dipping sauce (which is okay). Just not a home run. Decent meal for the price, with limited seating; more like an order and go situation. If the que gets long it gets very crowded very fast. But service was pretty friendly and nice. I’d def go back cause the flavors were good. Just wish I also got a little more for the $13+ dollars.
The food here was fantastic. I would suggest trying the chili lime sauce it was great on everything. The chicken was crispy and delicious. Wonder if they have any more of these in different locations? Great job guys
So glad we tried this place! The food is fresh And cooked to order. The fried wings with chili sauce was Rollin! We also had the roasted chicken with rice. Very tender and flavorful. We will definitely be back before we head home!
The taste and quality of the chicken here is quite good; but the pictures they post (on grubhub) are really misleading. The portion of chicken that I actually got was barely a half of what I saw in the picture. I'm not a fan of the roast chicken personally; but the steamed and spicy fried chicken are both good, and the clear soup is a nice touch.
A great place to grab some chicken (over rice) during your busy days. The chicken is well-seasoned and tender, and they do give a lot. The rice is not just plain white rice but also has some seasoning - some ginger, garlic, and is probably cooked with chicken broth as well. The sauces are okay, I heard the green one is pretty good. They also give a small bowl of soup, but it is kinda bland. Zaab fries is pretty interesting with a hint of spicy and zesty. This place is mostly for takeout but there are a couple of seats if you decide to dine in. Bring your own box to reduce waste!! And customer service is exceptional!
Ordered the spicy fried chicken. It was very flavourful and had the right amount of heat. Was also pleasantly surprised by the white rice that it came with. Reminded me of the rice that come with hainese chicken. Food was good but small portions of chicken. Would need to order extra chicken next time.
I have tried this style of cuisine first from an establishment in elmhurt queens. This shop has tasty meals with good portion sizes. I ordered steamed dark meat chicken and extra on the side spicy fried chicken. Will definitely come back here. Opt out of the soup its whack and a waste of more plastic containers. Youre not missing much on the luke warm soup.
Ordered delivery and was excited to try this place because chicken and rice is always a win…however they forgot the soups for every rice bowl order and even forgot an entire steamed dark meat rice bowl order…okay understandable if they are busy during the dinner rush. However, the food I did receive though…another big meh. Rice is flavorless and not cooked. It was starchy and crunchy. Sauce is overly salty…like holy cow it was unpleasant on the tongue. The roasted chicken was alright but maybe a bit dry. Ordered their chicken tenders too thinking it was glazed with ginger and chili sauce. Nope. Just huge chucks of fried chicken breast that had no flavor and was also extremely dry with a side of ginger and chili sauce that was another salt bomb. I would say meh…there are better places that does Thai/Hainanese chicken rice right.
